- Change the Postgres configuration to use x509 client certs for authenticating the connections for replicating between Patroni nodes. This is a straightforward solution for support credential rotation for the replication user. Password authentication is problematic due to the declartive nature of helm charts and requiring an existing replication connection to replicate the rotated password.
